曼徹斯特樂團The Charlatans最近宣布即將發行第十二張專輯（名稱尚未確定），將會紀念去年逝世的鼓手Jon Brookes。新專輯的第一首單曲〈Talking In Tones〉將由音樂網站The Quietus成立的廠牌Quietus Phonographic Corporation發行，MV由Factory Floor的團員Nik Colk執導，影片中演員Nico Mirallegro飾演主腦Tim Burgess年輕的樣子。

〈Talking In Tones〉有The Charlatans一貫中慢板的搖擺節拍和Tony Rogers鮮明的鍵盤聲，氣氛低微，傳達人際關係中的微妙感應。
