已經二十年沒有新作，在2014年重組的經典瞪鞋樂團Ride今年將發行名稱尚未公佈的新專輯，由DJ Erol Alkan擔綱製作，曾和Ride合作第一張專輯《Nowhere》和第二張專輯《Going Blank Again》的製作人Alan Moulder將負責混音。主唱與吉他手Andy Bell在受訪時提到，Ride重組的部份原因是受到The Stone Roses鼓舞，另一位主腦Mark Gardener也表示，團員在當下的生命階段認為重組樂團才不會內心遺憾。

新歌〈Charm Assault〉對當下的英國政府表達不滿，Andy Bell表示，這首歌是Ride在2015年巡迴後在最佳狀態寫出的歌曲。
