美國獨立樂團Deerhunter日前宣佈將在明年一月發行新專輯《Why Hasn’t Everything Already Disappeared?》，新專輯將由威爾斯歌手Cate LeBon製作，主題是關於「發生在現今的科幻小說，探討文化、人性、自然界、邏輯與情感的衰亡」。他們也公佈首支單曲〈Death in Midsummer〉，此首歌受到1917年俄國革命啟發。歌詞提到

相當巧合的是，歌詞彷彿預示了友人的生命結束。樂團昨天宣佈他們於2004年到2012年的貝斯手Josh Fauver英年早逝，享年39歲。Josh Fauver當時取代了2004年過世的貝斯手Justin Bosworth，在Deerhunter期間發行了多張經典專輯。
