Ride在2017年推出睽違21年的專輯《Weather Diaries》，在去年也推出EP《Tomorrow’s Shore》，今年他們將乘勝追擊，於八月發行新專輯《This Is Not a Safe Place》。
他們也公佈了第一首單曲〈Future Love〉，樂觀明亮的聲音宛如後輩DIIV，歌詞 “Skies are blue / And I can’t do anything / And the days seem so long / Now you’ve got me going /Yeah, you’ve got me going“ 表現出一段戀曲剛開始時的甜美。
