[Mixtape] In the Airplane Over The Sea

兩年前，跟知名樂評火山大大合作選歌一起做了mixtape之後，莫名地變成我們年底前必須做的一個慣例了。不知是否因為臭氣相投，還是找不到品味如此差勁的人，我們依舊樂於一起挑選歌曲做mixtape，這件自娛娛人的事。原本我倆還在苦思主題，但是當我的視線轉到牆上 Neutral Milk Hotel 的大鼓臉女孩，才讓我有了這次搭飛機的靈感。殊不知，我們一直在做關於交通工具的mixtape...

當有了飛機這個主題，相關的歌曲也漸漸浮上心頭。戴起耳機，坐在候機室聽著Brian Eno的《Music For Airports》，飛機起飛時轟轟作響的引擎聲，想像著前往旅遊目的地的雀躍心情，或是期待著飛向心之所向的對象途中，穿越不穩定氣流時擔心搭的飛機是否會在空中爆炸，還是一路平穩地滑行穿越朵朵雲層，歸心似箭的只想要回家，或是只是純粹想要幹譙服務差勁的空姐，我們都包了。甚至連你根本不想聽的流行歌（金門王，黎安萊姆絲…），我們也包了，我承認我們品味確實很差，但我們sorry, not sorry。只願你聽著這張mixtape的旅途中一切平安，看到你不曾到的風景，我們明年再見。

[Mixtape] On This Highway Called Life

繼去年的「太空旅行」mixtape之後，今年又再度跟景仰多年的火山大大合作這次的歌單。剛開始為了選擇主題，還苦惱了一陣子。可是一旦選定這個以開車與公路人生的主題，我們都熱血起來了，歌曲一首接著一首的浮現於腦海中。重溫年少時期愛上搖滾樂的那些樂團和歌曲，像是暴走硬核的punk rock、狂妄不羈的grunge樂團、還有吉他亂噴的metal歌曲。其實，現在已經很少會聽這麼噪、這麼中二的音樂，但是這些歌搭上飆速的心情，自己嗨起來聽還是挺爽的。

除了這些樂風，也選了brit-pop、shoegaze、lo-fi、indie pop等。儘管這些歌曲樂風迥異，但是可以保證的是，這個mixtape選的歌基本上都具有相當的速度感，不管你是在趕路，在跑路，還是只是想要聽聽引擎的咆嘯，這些歌曲都非常適合大力地踩下油門，朝向前方一路狂奔。當然可能除了李英宏的〈台北直直撞〉，不過這首歌倒是蠻適合塞車時，來一下carpool karaoke。你看我們是不是想得很周到？

[Mixtape] 2017: Space Odyssey

雖說「太空旅行」與生活是八竿子打不著邊，但有句話說「想像力是你的超能力」，既然困於現代生活的框架中，用想像來自我解嘲似乎是唯一的出路。以我們淺薄的想像，太空旅行大概會是：星船加速起飛的速度感、探索異星的神秘、無邊無際的寂寥與空間感、不知打哪來的異形莫名其妙總要穿你腸破我肚等。因此音樂的選擇上會比較偏向progressive路線，從progressive rock 到 progressive house，那些聽起來很像來在外太空的音樂。

照著這些特性來看，選了迷幻、噪音、實驗、後搖、Shoegaze、Ambient、Krautrock、還有House等元素，試著涵蓋所有我們聽的音樂裡關於太空的想像。這張mixtape是我和景仰多年的火山前輩一起挑選的，最後選了將近四個小時的音樂，浩瀚的長度應該不會愧對於odyssey這個名字。另外名單排序僅供參考，因為時間太長，要一次聽完真的不太可能，不過隨便挑一首來聽，希望都會有太空旅行的感覺。那麼，口說無憑、心想也無益，不如交給耳朵去探索吧。下面名單上的歌曲是按照我們能在Spotify上找到的歌，所編列的，Welcome on board!
