兩年前，跟知名樂評火山大大合作選歌一起做了mixtape之後，莫名地變成我們年底前必須做的一個慣例了。不知是否因為臭氣相投，還是找不到品味如此差勁的人，我們依舊樂於一起挑選歌曲做mixtape，這件自娛娛人的事。原本我倆還在苦思主題，但是當我的視線轉到牆上 Neutral Milk Hotel 的大鼓臉女孩，才讓我有了這次搭飛機的靈感。殊不知，我們一直在做關於交通工具的mixtape...
當有了飛機這個主題，相關的歌曲也漸漸浮上心頭。戴起耳機，坐在候機室聽著Brian Eno的《Music For Airports》，飛機起飛時轟轟作響的引擎聲，想像著前往旅遊目的地的雀躍心情，或是期待著飛向心之所向的對象途中，穿越不穩定氣流時擔心搭的飛機是否會在空中爆炸，還是一路平穩地滑行穿越朵朵雲層，歸心似箭的只想要回家，或是只是純粹想要幹譙服務差勁的空姐，我們都包了。甚至連你根本不想聽的流行歌（金門王，黎安萊姆絲…），我們也包了，我承認我們品味確實很差，但我們sorry, not sorry。只願你聽著這張mixtape的旅途中一切平安，看到你不曾到的風景，我們明年再見。
